The question about Bode's brother right after he won was pathetic, I hope that reporter feels like shit.

NBC in general has been good. But that interview looked like an SNL skit.

Bob Costas to return to Olympics coverage after eye infection

NBC's Bob Costas plans to make his return to NBC on Monday after being off the air for a week with an eye infection.

NBC said Sunday that "Today" host Matt Lauer will sub for Costas one last time on NBC's Sunday night telecast, and that Costas is preparing for his return in prime-time Monday.

The long-time Olympics host started duty in Sochi with one eye reddened from an infection that he hoped would clear up quickly. Instead, it spread to his other eye. It made his vision sight blurry and it was difficult for him to work, and his red eyes were a popular topic on social media.

Lauer and Meredith Vieira have filled in for him.

I'd be OK with NBC not getting the Olympics again for a long LONG time!

Between the pick eye dipshit and the rest of their crappy coverage, this has been a pretty horrible showing from NBC...

Honestly, this comes up every 2 years, and I've never understood it - especially the last few years. I understand that people have trouble sometimes with their prime time coverage, but what do you expect them to do when most of the events happen between 4am and 10am and when there's about 50 hours of action to cover per day? Not to mention that they show events on FOUR channels all day long, and you can literally watch every single event live online for free, complete with the ability to watch them recorded later.

There has literally never been more access to Olympic coverage than what NBC is giving us right now.

4 Channels showing coverage, one at a time. It is obviously designed not for the viewer but for the numbers that they can get. Though they didn't even do a good job of that because my Mom didn't even know where to look for curling.

Back in the 90's, no one even knew what curling was because they never showed it at all.

I understand that, and it has gotten better since they started playing it on other channels. But I really cannot stand figure skating. Can't do it. And when I come home and flip on the TV that's all I see. I'm not a huge fan of any of the winter sports, so it's not like I set out to view a specific event, but I want to see the contested races, and some of the things USA has done. Nope. Figure skating or ice dance or whatever the **** figure skating wannabe lame ass shit is on. There is a whole pile of elite athletes doing remarkable things and every time I tune in it is mother****ing figure skating.

The commentators are atrocious for most of what I've seen. **** figure skating. Other than the US/Russia hockey match there haven't been a lot of replays that I've seen. Costas has to give social commentary.

There just isn't anything I like about it or even think they're doing an adequate job of.
