I went with:

#1 - Bill Walsh. Remember his short stint as an announcer? Wow. Every sentence was about how smart he was and how great he was. Truly one of the most egocentric people I have ever observed. A true final four contender in my mind.

#2 - Larry Johnson. I've always been somewhat forgiving of Larry considering the situation Carl drafted him into. He got screwed over. So angry is fine. But there seems to be a lot of ego there, too.

#3 - Joe Theismann. I've heard a lot about him being extremely self-centered and egotistic, but the only concrete story I've got was him changing his last name's pronunciation to rhyme with Heisman. Anyone else no more?

#4 - Shawne Merriman. Eh, he danced around like a little girl. Lots of guys do that before they bust out and end up on the Bills roster.

Bill Walsh should have a bye to the finals. In fact, he probably shouldn't be included at all, and there should be a bracket where the contestants compete for the Bill Walsh Is The Greatest Human Ever Trophy. Finals will be held at Bill Walsh's trophy room each year.

Oh, good. So I'm not the only person who has noticed that.

In an objective competition, I think Bill Walsh could win it all. He is ego personified.

I only know Bill Walsh from the Sega games in the 90s, don't really remember him being in San Fran or being an announcer apparently. I voted Larry Johnson and Joe Theismann.

Larry and Joe move on, and the thing I learned today is that not enough people are aware of the galactic immensity of Bill Walsh's ego. The Hubble has tried to take pictures of Bill Walsh's ego, but it doesn't have a large enough field of view.

I figure enough people actually think he's a genius that the ego seems appropriate.

Eh, I guess that's possible. He was aided by having that distinguished white hair. And Joe Montana.
