"Invincible" movie review
Just returned from seeing Invincible. This movie is one of the best sports movies I have seen in years. As one reviewer wrote it is the "Rookie" of football. If you like history, music from the seventies, football (as we all do) and an inspirational story go see it. I can not wait to buy it on DVD. I may even go see it again next week...it is that good.

I second that. Completely inspiring and also, made me think I could try out for the NFL and make it!

I preferred 111%: The Jason Burdock Story.

(it was so good that I actually left the laptop next to the chair for most of the movie which is something I seldom do).

Just got through watching the behind the scenes story of Vince Papale. Awesome story of a fan who's dream of playing for his hometown team came true.
A quote that sums up the whold movie: [Vince] took the passion of the Phildelphia fan, put it into a jersey, and threw it into the wedge on Sunday. He's the physical manifestation of every fan's desire. How many of us would love the opportunity to play at Arrowhead on Sunday afternoon? I also wonder, how much difference there would be if players had more passion for the game like they used too? Again, a great movie and a great story that is worth watching.

Just got though watching this. Pretty good flick. Id recommend it.
I thought Greg Kinnear did an ok job as Vermeil. He has some of the facial expressions and mannerisms right, but his voice sounded nothing like DV's...

I will have to admit that the movie was pretty darn good once I got the F***ing DVD to play in my player.
When they showed a pic of Papale at the end of the movie you can see why they upped him a little and got Wahlberg to play the part ...Vince would have given Darrell Talley a run for the money in an ugly contest. .

Kinnear was fine, acting is reacting while feeling natural, not imitation. Immitation is usually used in a monologue format like stand-up comedy... Marky Mark didn't imitate Papale either. I thought his performance was good too.
