Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs

Well, it looks like the deal is done.

https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

Well everyone is idiotic because because Alex hasn't even played a game and he's already a bust. Not a single snap, and "Boo hoo cry, I hate Alex and fat **** Reid". Mark Bradley. Lol. That was a good play.

and it's crazy I can think of about 15 good moments right off the top of my head from that 2 and 14 season under Carl.. but I can't think of a single good moment minus Charles from that 2 and 14 season under Pioli.

As far as finding a player that will help that team, it's just as ridiculous. Milliner opposite Flowers would be an improvement. Floyd at DE would be an improvement. Patterson, Austin and Allen would be an improvement over Baldwin and McCluster. Tyler Eifert and Zach Ertz would be an improvement over the oft-injured Tony Moeaki.

It's like Chiefsplanet has become the bizarro-world, where improving the football team is an absolute impossibility.
If the Chiefs draft a corner, a 5'7" wide receiver, or a tight end with the #1 overall pick, I will rape a horse.

I actually agree with you on everything you just said here. Quite frankly, I could see Andy/John behind the scenes quitely playing the "Jags QB card" in the ears of Cleveland,Philly,Buffalo and Jets.

John Dorsey: "Seriously fellas, now that we have our QB and we will not take Geno how can the Jags pass on Geno when they have Blaine and Chad ?

Never did I state that would be the case. I stated that they could trade back and still improve the team.

So, if Geno Smith is as amazing a prospect as everyone says he is, why will there be no market for the #1 pick?

I was speaking in terms of taking an OT.

If they re-sign Albert, I'll back off Reid and Dorsey. But until then, and from what I've heard from Albert on Twitter, they're being stupid bitches and trying to get him to move to guard all so they can take Joeckel or Fisher.

As long as they sign a tackle in free agency, I won't care if it's Andre Smith or Jake Long or Brandon Albert. Taking Fisher or Yokel is counter-intuitive to winning in 2013, IMO.

But that said, I'll wait to see what happens before comparing Dorsey and Reid to ***** and Haley.

Quite frankly, for as anemic as this draft is "supposedly supposed to be" Tavon Austin is Randall Cobb on 'roids' IMO and would be the most immediate impact player in this draft and I'm thinking Dorsey sees Austin as the next Cobb with even higher upside. Would he take Austin with the 1st pick? Highly doubt it but if he could trade down, he could justify it then.

Teams know that the Chiefs arn't going draft Geno and Geno Smith still could go to the number 2 or 3 slot in the draft. Other teams could trade up to get him infront of the Raiders or the raiders could take him or move back. Geno Smith ranges from #1 to 10 in this draft. He would have been worth it to the Chiefs if the Chiefs had the balls to take him #1.
