Sunflower Showdown - watch party in Topeka
A few of us in are getting together Saturday for the KU/KSU game. So, I thought I'd start a thread to get the details worked out.

Guru suggested......errrr.....wait......I forgot. Guru, what's the name of that place again?

I like Skinny's. Plus, its not that far from where I live. Or the Blind Tiger. I was there for a couple KU games (1 football and one basketball) in 2010 and it was a pretty good setup. Lots of tvs in there. Their food is good and their beer is very good.

Anybody else want to join us (yes, even Wildcat fans)? C'mon, I know we have several CPers in Topeka. Do any of these locations work? Or does anyone have a better suggestion?

Why don't you guys do it in Lawrence which sits right between KC and T-Town? I would be up for going to Larryville to hang with you guys.

I don't know how many good watch spots will be available in Lawrence. When I was there, we'd get to the bars around 10am to get a good spot and start the pregame.

Good point. Game is at 6pm. Might be kinda hard as the party night is just about to get started at that time.
