Crumbled might be to strong of a word. I usually tear my biscuit into 4 to 6 pieces.

The thing is, a runny fried egg is a MUST for me with this.

a good bite is a good chunk of biscuit, gravy, and a slice of egg/yolk skewered on a fork. Truly amazing.
