JESUS CHRIST.

Okay, who's your everyday starting five, if you were forced to choose ONLY five, with a first-off?

I'd say:
1: Paul
2: Bryant
3: Durant
4: James
5: Howard
First-off: Rose, to play the 1 or 2

Assuming my list *was* our 5+1 lineup, I doubt any other team would even be able to hang with the "backup" 5+1, which would be:
1. Williams
2. Wade
3. Anthony
4. Griffin
5. Chandler
First-off: K. Love to spell the 4 or 5

And you've made two lists with 11 players and didn't even mention Derrick Rose.

6. Williams

However, they could always have Wade be 6th man and lead the team in scoring, like last time.

That is pretty close how I would do it except maybe switch Kobe and Wade

FTR, Paul isn't necessarily more talented than Rose or Williams, but I think he is the ideal PG to be able to coordinate a group as talented as those guys.

I don't really watch basketball, but I can easily predict that the US team will dish out some serious international rapings.

Lack of outside shooting once again a major weakness. The US is always more athletic and talented, but they've struggled mightily in international competition to play as a team, in a system, and have often been woeful from outside.
