So awesome. One thing I found interesting was in OT, Mahomes didn’t seem to care which direction they chose and left it up to Toub, who kinda looked at both ends and then made the call. Wonder why he chose the direction he did?

in the SB, where weather is not a factor, the direction you kick makes no difference. i think Toub just randomly picked a direction TBH.

That's what i figured. But then watching that clip he sort of looks at both ends, and then decides a certain direction. Could be totally random, but it just got me wondering if there was anything more behind it? I believe the direction we scored the OT TD was the same direction we scored are only other TD, so maybe he figured it had some good mojo lol

only time I think it mattered in a SB was the Saints onsides kick where they wanted to kick the ball towards the Saints sidelines so they can intimidate the refs…

I don't think I've ever seen a team that the O and D just constantly affirm each other and love on one another.

That team was SUPER tight knit.

That is the culture that Reid brings to the team.

We are so very fortunate.

Agreed. I think the relationship between Mahomes, Kelce and Chris Jones helps bridge that gap.

Seems like on a lot of teams the offensive and defensive players barely even know each others names but this team has really seemed super tight for years.

That last pass in regulation to Kelce in the end zone was actually a really good throw. Closer to being a walk-off there than I realized. Warner just made an insane play.

I love Justin Reid’s calm demeanor and speaking voice. I had actually noticed that after our AFCCG win against Cinci last year when he interviewed in the locker room iced out wearing all black and the shades.

The final montage showing highlights of the series from the season really hit home for me. Seeing Mahomes and the other QBs run onto the practice field in training camp made me excited for another season.

It looks like the throw to Kelce was predetermined by the sound of that huddle. Rice was open but I think Kelce was getting the back shoulder no matter what. Maybe I'm wrong, thats just what it sounded like.

That's not surprising considering how much time was left. You don't have time to **** around there.

They did have 1 timeout, but yeah, all it takes is a Malcom Butler type interception and its game over.

Oh, yeah, that was definitely mostly predetermined. I’m sure Pat was just letting the other guys know they’d need to get down immediately just in case they got a super favorable look elsewhere and he couldn’t pass up taking a shot to someone else.

But Kelce was always the best bet there. The chances of throwing an INT on a back shoulder in the corner of the end zone there has to be basically zero. It’s either incomplete and OT or a TD and we win right there.

I’m just surprised it was such a good ball. Creed really did roll that snap to Mahomes.

A regular QB panics and throws that one out the back of the end zone.

Just finished a second viewing, and I'm not sure what moment stuck out more

Jones and Pennel gassed at the end, or Andy getting livid with Hardman to get his ass on the field for the game winner... either way this is probably 65TPT's best episode ever
