lesean had a bad year sure. But he's still a top RB. He had 2000+ yards from scrimmage and 11 TDs the year before.

This is a phenomenal trade for Philly.

I get why people here think it's a bad trade, considering the team we root for is so dependent on the RB position.

They sure didn't depend on him that much last year...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I remember when Mecca and I both talked about not minding CJ Spiller at #5 overall in 2010 if Eric Berry was off the board.

Whoops.

He averaged 4.2 YPC and scored 5 TD last year.

Tough to replace.

who are they going to replace McCoy with though. I know RBs are replaceable blah blah and McCoy had a bad year, but at the end of a day he was still a mismatch and threat on the field that kept defenses honest. And besides Demarco Murray there is absolute garbage RBs in FA. So unless they are in the race for Melvin Gordon in the draft or someone like that, good luck keeping defenses from not sitting the dime or nickel all game against them.

It's a good year to need a RB.

FA - Spiller (would be hilarious), Reggie Bush, AP (maybe), Murray
Draft - Gordon, Johnson, Gurley

None are McCoy, but McCoy wasn't McCoy this past year and he would cost a ****ton.

Now they have 40 million in cap space, and are paying a badass defensive player peanuts for the next couple years.

PFT is reporting that Spiller wants to talk with the Eagles because he'd be a good fit.

Bills got ****ed.

RBs are a commodity, brah. You can always find one Rd 5-7 or undrafted.
