--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Court records: Broncos LB Dumervil cited for assault after game Julie Hayden Reporter 8:59 PM MST, December 22, 2010 Advertisement DENVER -- Broncos linebacker Elvis Dumervil was cited for assault as he left a game at Invesco Field, FOX31 News has learned. The incident happened after the Broncos' loss to the Oakland Raiders on October 24 and allegedly involved one of the parking attendants at Invesco. Court documents show the 6 foot, 250 pound Dumervil was cited for assault and disturbing the peace. It appears he's been in Denver court at least once and has another court appearance set for January 11. The Pro Bowl linebacker signed a six year, 61 million dollar contract with the Broncos this past off-season. But the 26-year-old was injured during training camp and hasn't seen any action on the field. Dumervil's record shows he's had some traffic offenses like speeding and no proof of insurance, but nothing like this in the past. Dumervil is the fourth Broncos player busted this season. Back in November, DJ Williams was arrested by Denver Police for DUI. It was his second such arrest. Less than two weeks ago, Broncos cornerback Perrish Cox was arrested in Douglas County on charges of sexual assault. And this past Monday, Broncos linebacker Kevin Alexander was arrested for assault and battery. He pled not guilty to the charges but has since been released by the Broncos.
