Roofing guys have been hammering my apartment complex for hours.
So this weekend the Chiefs lose....and thay festival thing was going on so I couldn't park close to my thing.

Now they are re-doing the roof and about a dozen guys have just been hammring the roof since about 7 a.m. on my day off. It is one of the loudest things. I am on the top floor of the 2 story place. The day when I I usually sleep in.

I need to have myself admitted or something im gonna go nuts.

These guys are acully working really hard. On my trip to Denver I drove to St. Louis from Springfield and flew out.

On my way out there I was on a 2 lane highway I think it was 44. I am dircing along and there is a "road work ahead" sign and a truck that points the little arrow to merge to one lane...so traffic is slower but not to bad I am driving and the whole left lane is blocking off but there is no actual work being done...I keep going and keep going and there is nothing. Finally at the end there are 6 construction workers trying (and having problems) to put the "Road Work Has Ended" sign away. Kind of struck me as funny.

Get on Kansas exp.way head north take 13HWY(same as kansas) 2 miles take a left head back west on farm rd 94 take that about 3.5 miles till you see the Ritter Springs park sighn(farm road 129 North) about a half mile down hang a right into the park and enjoy 750 acres of trees caves creeks and woods.
its about a 15 min. drive.
