Breaking on CNN: Judge ORDERS sheriff to pick up Paris and bring her to court...

This keeps getting more pathetic and hysterical by the minute.

I find it funny that here you are calling those who disagree with you an idiot and moron, telling them they are confused. Yet, it is only you who doesn't understand that Paris is being punished for violating the terms of her probation, and not reckless driving, not a DUI, her probation.

The judge has not gone outside his legal boundries. Maybe if Paris wouldn't have treated his court like a joke from the get go she might have had alittle more compassion coming from the bench.

Where did I state otherwise? Meme's is basically stating that there's a "conspiracy" to get her out serving her sentence - whether it be the media, her family, the lawyers, and so on. I find it utterly ridiculous that people ridicule Hilton for going through the normal legal process. Appeals and hearings are a part of any court case. She may be a rich, spoiled brat that's famous only for being famous but that shouldn't mean that she deserves to be treated unfairly by the legal system.

Simplex stated in a related thread that people who drive on suspended licenses "should be thrown in a ditch and shot". Then he called out Bogie's friends for drinking and driving, belittling Bogie and his choice of friends. Then states all high and mightily that he's NEVER broken the law, other than speeding "but never when it endangers others".

WHO is sitting on a "high horse"?

This thing is freak-like in its stupidity, NOW the excuse is "psychiatric disorder"...that makes 5 different reasons by my count, as to why she was let out.

I honestly cant get over her & her families UBER DRAMA in the courtroom, i hate them all now. She was bawling & squealing like she had just been sentenced to 10 years in the general population at Attica, not 23 or 45 days or whatever the hell it is, in a private cell at county.

I now wish our Hilton here in Springfield would just crumble to the focking ground.

Dane, for the life of me i cant understand your constant defense of this girl. Why is she being treated unfairly??? All judges are different & allowed a certain amount of discretion in sentencing in most cases. She got a judge who felt strongly about her offenses, she'd been put on probation, violated that probation, was late for court (no matter the excuse) & drove the wrong way down a street with her lights off at night.

Thats pretty serious stuff & you cant compare her case to another...different laws in different states, judges who interpret laws differently etc. Its 45 days, thats not some brutal sentence. The girl needs to learn a lesson & chillin by her pool drinking Mai-Tai's with all of her pals coming over is NOT going to teach her squat.

I'd bet anything there are plenty of people who got her sentence & worse for what she did.

Ah, I now spot the source of your delusion. I did NOT say that the media or anyone else is conspiring to get PH out of her sentence. I don't believe such a thing is going on.

I do think that Fox News, as a network, has been unusally supportive of this particular law breaker but even then I don't think they are 'conspiring' to have her sprung. I think they are trying to sway public opinion that she is somehow the victim here and it wouldn't surprise me if there was a financial or personal incentive for the network to try...

that is a FAR CRY from what you are alleging I supposedly said.

The mere fact that you think that the Hilton Family has so much influence that they could financially influence Fox and Rupert Murdoch screams Conspiracy Theory.

The Hilton's are worth around $300 million. Rupert Murdoch is worth billions. Aside from that, it would be highly unethical (and highly unlikely) that the Hilton family could even bribe a newscaster or network to report in favor of their daughter.

I wouldn't call it a conspriracy. I'd just say people are trying to use their influence and money to see Paris released before her sentence is fulfilled. That's just being realistic. But saying that, she hasn't recieved any punishment that is not unfair, unlike what some would like to portray.

And I'll agree on your feelings about Simplex. He portrays and brings the persona as being perfect in everything he does. Life tells me that is a crock of shit.

Agreed. FOX News doesn't have anything to gain other than ratings.

But the Sheriff seems mighty star struck...

The way I see it, the Hilton family isn't doing anything illegal. They've hired lawyers and have tried to get to the court to change it's decision. While people who aren't familiar with the trial system may find that repulsive, they're doing everything they can do within the legal framework to get her sentence reduced.

While I agree with many people who've said that this experience "will be good for her" and I agree that it's not "unfair". But considering some of the other examples (Jared Allen, Michelle Rodriguez, Scott Freakin' Wieland!), it's certainly more excessive than would it *could* have been. But the judge decided that leniency wasn't prudent in this case, so there you have it.

But I hardly think there's a "conspiracy" going on.
