Their free content hasn't appealed to me like it has Netflix. Since I don't care to pay for both, then Amazon has to have enough content that I don't pay extra for and so far it hasn't. That's what the trial is for.

Plus I read a review on comparing the two and that review came to the same conclusion I did.

There's a new (to my knowledge) streaming site called Philo. It's available on Roku and probably other services. For $16/month it offers 33 channels of things I like. No bitching news people or crappy sports channels. It does offer channels like Science, History, Discovery, etc., and AMC, IFC for movies. That's just a few. You might check it out. It works for me.

That’s one of the things I like about Roku. You say the name of a movie or show into the remote and it shows you all the different sites that have it and the cost if any.
