***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

All and all, Denver is playing well and could have won the game yesterday. Be interesting if Denver plays NE in the wild card round if they make it.
Compliments on an impartial, accurate analysis. I wondered the same thing: where is Hillis? I think McKid is trying to get it in Knowshon's head that he is the established RB but why not a little thunder to go with the lightning?

I still don't see how Orton is the reason the offense isn't opening up... I think it's play calling and the way McD is doing things and no, it's not because Orton can't make plays. Orton has proved to be very accurate and he can make plays.

Hillis... I don't know, but that's another frustrating aspect to me. I read that McD doesn't like him and I don't understand what's not to like with a guy that is versatile like Hillis, esp when it's 3rd and 3.

The thing that killed me yesterday is despite being down 21-0... the Broncos still had a chance. Beginning late in the 2nd quarter and lasting until the middle of the 4th quarter, the Colts had 7 drives that finished as follows: punt / INT / punt / INT / punt / INT / punt

Add to this the fact that the Broncos closed the first half and opened the second half with drives that produced 0 points, and they missed a 42 yard field goal in the 2nd half.

The team dug themselves a whole with the 3 TD deficit, but they played well enough to stay within 5 until that drive in the middle of the 4th quarter. Missed opportunities, but... it happens.

It's definitely the playcalling if Denver isn't attacking downfield. But, some of it has to fall on Orton if you're just not going to consistently attack downfield. Next year with the offseason program, another minicamp and training, I'd expect more deep balls out of Orton.

Definitely missed opportunities. Couldn't get into FG range at the end of the half. Missed FG. Settling for FG instead of punching it in. Hagans? didn't make the stop on 3rd down at the end of the game. You guys had a great chance to win. Only an idiot would say you guys sucked yesterday.

Orton needs one more game with a 90.0 rating to tie the Broncos single-year record (Elway had 10 in 1997 and 1993).

I'll step in for the kid until he gets here. You are way off base on him. Dude didn't jump on the bandwagon when Denver was winning. He called his shot in the preseason when you and everyone else on this board were celebrating "teh greatest offseason evar" and it looked like Denver was in turmoil with the Culter and Marshall crap.
Say what you will but you can't call KnowMo a fair-weather fan. He predicted Denver would be much better than the 3-4 win team people were saying and he was right.

That's all good, but my guess is that he's one of those fans that will never project that his team could possibly have a bad season in store for them.

Your opinion doesn't change the fact that he was right.
I don't mind a glass half-full attitude. Beats the hell out of some of the never-happy sort that are on here, the mane etc. Fan is short for fanatic right?

Thats fine and dandy.I root for KC even when I'm sure they're gonna get pounded, but I don't come over to Orangemane throwing stats around and claiming titles and shit like its going out of style.
