Home and Auto Dryer making noise

Sorry for the shitty quality. This is the noise my dryer makes. It still produces heat, fwiw.

A quick google search reveals that the blower wheel might need replacing.

Check the fetzer or mccloover valves.

Seriously, the tumbler turns on a set of pads that are attached to the front and back cover. They are probably worn out . Whats going to happen next is the tumbler belt will break and then you'll be down. It's an easy fix. Take a putty knife and slide it under the front of the top lid to pop it loose. The front panel comes off with two screws under ther bottom right on the front. Google up Maytag repair parts to find what you need. I just went thru this.

what the pig stroker said, probably bad friction pads. Easy fix.

Probably from Factory Direct or another appliance shop, but they will probably be cheaper bought online if you don't mind waiting.

Mine was making that exact same noise last week and I figured it was a roller or a bearing somewhere going bad. It turned out that there was a large accumulation of lint between the fins of the blower wheel, which was causing it to be severely unbalanced. I cleaned out the lint and no more noise. I would have never guessed that was where it was coming from.
