You noticed that, too? I was thinking, "Wait, why does a rich young guy have a haircut that was obviously done by a first-month associate at Supercuts?"

The franchises with great ownership always win or find there way back if there are down times. The 'Barts are amazing.

Matt Ryan is the more experienced, classic pocket passer, but Colin Kapernick is the young gun with a stronger arm and more dynamic playmaking ability.

now if they lost that one, firing him (just like I thought firing John Fox would have been the right move) would have been the call today? I'll be honest. I think it is pretty flukey they lost this game. Ryan played hurt on 3rd and 4th down and they could have easily called a PI as well as Douglas not pwnign himself when he broke wide open. Now do I think Kaep would have led them back down for at least a FG try with 3+ minutes after a Douglas TD? Absolutely. But if they picked up the 1st down at the end they would have won that game...and they would have left no time on the clock. So yeah, Mike Smith definitely needs to look in the mirror and they need to figure out their defense, no doubt. He needs to be a better coach. I don't understand how these teams don't have quality control coaches that are in charge of having these scenarios in place... I just don't get how Madden players are better clock managers than real life NFL coaches. It's baffling. |

Put it like this, that last play took 6 seconds (Julio caught the ball with 2 seconds on the clock and clock expired when he fell). That was a play where Ryan took a 5 step drop and floated the ball 30 yards. A 5 yard out with a 3 step drop takes much less time. The Seahawks did it last week http://espn.go.com/nfl/playbyplay?ga...13001&period=4 They threw a 6 yard pass that took 4 seconds and then threw the hail mary.
