Well, what you should be saying is **** myself for being a dumbass.

When pioli traded for cassel, he did so thinking that he was a franchise qb.

Andy Reid hasnt done that with alex smith, and the talent is upgraded AROUND alex smith, much more so than i would say was around matt cassel.

So, dont blame alex smith, because you are an idiot.

Talk about cherry picking stats.

Alex Smith was replaced. If you want to be truthful about it, if he had gotten his job back, which he lost because of injury not play, he would of only missed ONE GAME. He was ready to go on the saints game.

Wow. So now because he lost his job, hes injury prone?

LOL.

But that could be Matt Barkley, if I had the access to these guys that NFL people have.
I still think that is a viable plan.

A 1st, 2nd, and conditional draft pick is really not to much to invest in the QB position.

The Giants gave up two 1st, a 3rd, and a 5th to get Eli.

The Redskins gave up three 1st's and a 2nd for RGIII.

The Raiders gave up a 1st and a 2nd for Carson Palmer.

JMO

EDIT: Money for 2013 would be around 13.5 million.

8.5 for Alex
4.0 for Geno (maybe a tad more, but that is what Luck got last year)
1.8 for Chase

In 2014 it could go as high as 17-18 million

9.0 for Alex
5.0 for Geno
3.4 for Chase

BUT, none of Alex's is guaranteed for 2014 so a lot of that money could be freed up next offseason.

You're no good for your team if you're not on the field. Whatever the reason. 76 out of 128 regular season games. I wouldn't worry about his rookie season of only 7 games. Taken at #1 over all, some may feel different.

We should sign JaMarcus Russell too. Then we could have two #1 picks at the same time!!!!!! Talk about winning!

Step aside Ravens, Patriots, Broncos, and Steelers... we got this shit on lockdown!

We can't forget about Brett Favre either, even though he wasn't #1.

I think the best bet would be to go after Russell. He is trying to get in shape with Jeff Garcia to make a comeback. And then just to be safe Id see if I could get Brady Quin to resign.

Youd have a QB roster with 3, yes 3, first rd picks and 2 #1 OVERALL picks. Im pretty sure that would be tops in the league.

Talent-wise, Smith shits on Green. He is more of an athlete and has a better arm. Accuracy was Trent's game, but if we are talking about god given talent, you are blazed off your ass if you think the career backup Trent Green had more talent than Smith.

Socrates > Dorsey

Quote:
We tend to accept that people in authority must be right. It’s this assumption that Socrates wanted us to challenge by urging us to think logically about the nonsense they often come out with, rather than being struck dumb by their aura of importance and air of suave certainty.

This six part series on philosophy is presented by popular British philosopher Alain de Botton, featuring six thinkers who have influenced history, and their ideas about the pursuit of the happy life.

Green was a threat to every level of the field. Alex Smith is a threat to five yards past the line of scrimmage. Just having someone who can punish teams for crowding the box would do wonders for our offense.
