Upper levels you do see more fights. Cheaper tickets = trashier people normally. Preseason or games when tickets are just given too the trashier people show up to.

Yep; that's where it was...you can see the bottom of the roof and the air conditioning ducts...lovely stadium though, despite the toaster comments about the outside.

Offsides is a fairly easy to understand rule (in a nutshell if a player is nearer to his opponents’ goal line than both the ball and the second to the last defender he's offside).

If someone gets within three yards of you it's mandated that you act as though you've been shot by a sniper and roll around for four minutes regardless if there were any actual contact.

If I would have knows soccer was this entertaining I would probably be a fan.

Usually when I watch it seems like the game isnt started and a bunch of guys trotting around kicking a ball back and forth for a couple hours.

I don't think I ever made it to actually watching the game...

I think soccer has potential, but it just needs a few tweaks. Like maybe let the players pick up the ball and carry it. And let the defenders drag them to the ground when they do.

Soccer aka futbol is easily the worlds most popular game. Maybe not to our country but worldwide it blows away football in terms of popularity and being seen as a real sport.

And to someone who has played both football and soccer.. I can tell you soccer takes years of learning rather than football where I was already a top player on my team freshman year in my first year of football. Soccer is just difficult for the average person/fan to understand which is why the game is so beautiful to those who understand it.

I think that soccer has benefited from HDTV more than any other sport.

A lot of the sense that 'soccer is boring' aside from the low scoring, is that people just saw a bunch of blips wandering around a pitch without much rhyme or reason. When you can see the intricate footwork and the widescreen allows you to see more of the pitch and thus more of the buildup, you appreciate the complexity and creativity of what's going on that much more.
