I don't know what the word is locally, but I've heard some talk about Hugh Freeze as a possibility.

No link but just watched on the SEC network that Ole Miss has lifted all restrictions to transfer, including transferring to other SEC schools. Hope the MU staff is on this, Ole Miss has some talent on that team.

Somebody is gonna flip an OC offer Hugh Freeze's way for this very reason.

It's not a terrible idea but that's too much baggage for my tastes. He comes I without a y sanctions as a coach (not HC) so it's doable and you'd have a great shot at some of those transfers.

But it's not a great look.

I kinda like the Graham Harrell idea.

Graham Harrell is my favorite option, but Odom and Freeze are apparently good friends. High Freeze is going to land somewhere. Columbia, MO wouldn't surprise me. And I think he'll be in the SEC East regardless (Tennessee and Souf Cack both need OCs).

Freeze would bring in talent. If you think you can do it without the NCAA parking on your doorstep, I'm ok with it.

I am in the Graham Harrell camp as plan A but if that doesn't work out and as stated if there are zero NCAA issues Freeze would be a great OC.

I hate losing him as the OL coach but I had no interest in him as an OC so no worries there if we can get another good OL coach in here.

Some interesting hires need be made for sure.

So hey, Ronnie Perkins just kinda showed up out of the blue in CoMo this weekend.

I don't think they'll snag any major offensive recruits this weekend but it's a huge weekend for the defense. They could pull down some major targets off they nail the pitch...

I guess Gabe DeArmond is saying Freeze isn't an option. I just hope they don't do what Missouri has always done and hire someone from the good ol boy network. Maybe that was just what Pinkel did.
