That's right. After one week we have the highest overall rating in the league.



Standouts:


Branden Albert (4.1, 0 pressures allowed)
Rodney Hudson (2.6, 0 pressures allowed)

Dontari Poe (2.7, 2 sacks, 1 QB hit, 3 stops),
Justin Houston (3.8, 3 sacks, 3 hurries, 5 stop)
Derrick Johnson (5.5, 5 stops)
Eric Berry (3.4, 4 stops, 4 targets, only 9 yards allowed)
Brandon Flowers (2.3, 11 targets, 45 yards allowed)
Tamba Hali (2.1, 3 pressures, QB hit also had 3 pressures and a QB hit of his own.

Basically we had 6 defenders playing at an elite level in this game (2.0 or better, IMH-PFF-O). BEAST MODE.

Eric Fisher was not particularly good. -1.0, 3 pressures allowed.

This game was a PFF blowjob.

Note: Alex Smith was pressured only 7 times, and was 1 for 5 passing with 1 sack on those snaps.

Eric fisher played fine for where he should be. It's a stretch to say he wasn't good.

Jeff Allen gave up the sack all the way. He missed the stunt, Branch came through almost untouched and flushed Smith out to where Babin could roll back around (after Fisher drove him out of the play) and run Smith down from behind.

It should've been charged to Allen all the way.

Again - remember that PFF is literally just some guy sitting there with game tape giving players a pass/fail grade on each play.

He's as likely to be wrong as anybody.

PFF is a fun tool and I certainly like to look stuff up on it, but it's not dispositive by any stretch.
