in the past three seasons (or: since Moss left), New England's hasn't been a downfield attack. In that span, Brady is 18th in attempts of 20-plus air yards per game, among the 32 QBs who've started at least 20 games.

That is a Per Game stat and NE has thrown it 37 times a game over that time. More than almost any NFL team.

Was a bold move that most coaches would not make. But Jim is an arrogant, egotistical prick who wanted to get HIS boy on the field.

Alex was doing everything right and yes, was at the top of the NFL in efficiency. Still, we all know the remarkable potential that Kaepernick has... and Jim couldn't wait to break out his new toy.

Far more a compliment to the QB Kaep can become than it is some slight to the QB Alex is.
