Long term? Who's the oldest starting left tackle in the league? What makes you think that Albert should be the starting left tackle in 2016, when he's 32 years old?

If Albert weren't such a mauler, he'd basically have no game. And if that is his game, what makes anyone believe he can keep that up as he ages? |

Move him to right tackle. Bam! Plenty of right tackles playing well between 6-10 years in the league, which I think is a much better evaluation than some random age.

Dan Marino had horrible throwing mechanics, but it worked for him. |

Is Fisher elite AND ready to go right now? Then we can trade Albert for whatever and move on Is Fisher elite but not quite ready? Then we having Albert around of awhile gives Fisher time to develop Is Fisher a big,fat bust and needs to be a right tackle? Then we pay Albert and we drafted a RT at 1.1 all the questions we have answer during this tag year not to mention, can albert stay healthy and how does he do in a real offense.

how you folks forget the reason Branden Albert is not playing his natural position;
Herm: Hey let's get that Albert kid and make him our LT? Carl: Hmmmm, we can't roll out Sackintosh again -- my boy Huard needs time to win superbowls... Has Albert got experience at LT? Herm: Ya, ya -- he played there a full game during pop warner scrimmage -- It'll all come right back to him!11 Carl: (turns head backward and looks at staff) Let's get them trade phones roaring people!11!
