I've been there once. I'd rather go to the Mama Chinas buffet down the street. I fill my to go box till it can barely close and pay only $7 or $9 depending on the time of day. Can't beat that.

My favorite is Chitty Wok. If you are ever in Colorado, give it a try.

I hear you. I was in Denver about a month ago and a client took us over to a place called "United China" at 128th and Colorado in Thornton. The Sesame Chicken was outstanding. Whatever you do, though, don't eat BBQ in Denver. Sucks. There IS a place, however, in Loveland called "Nordy's" - Surprisingly good. Yes, I'm a fat ass who can recommend restaurants all over the country...... |

I did, as a matter of fact. Orange Chicken. Beef and Broccoli. Steamed Rice. The Orange Chicken is fine. But doesn't compare to real Chinese. Plus Panda doesn't have General Tso's. The best damn Chinese dish ever made when made correctly.

If your Thai restaurant serves this do yourself a favor and try it. Suki Haeng or in USA it may just be on menu as Suki Dry. You will think me latter.
I like this Thai version better that the Japanese sukiyaki in all the broth. This is a s Thai as you can get. This is sold by street venders in Thailand. Its like Hot dog or Pizza to Thai folk. The Oyster sauce Ive had is just perfect lots garlic and just right amount of heat. The picture I posted is best I could find it looks a little light in the noodle from what I have had. The protein used is usually pork, scallops, oyster, chicken or shrimp or a mixture of all. |
