Cost me about $40 today. That will last me about a week, living close to work. I'm lucky.

I went to Arco and filled up for $3.25. They are a little cheaper because they don't take credit cards...$48 for the fill.
I have an option to take a train, to another train and turn my 25 minute drive into an hour and 15 minute commute for $5 each way (20 miles.) When gas hits $15/gal. I'll consider it. I wonder if hedge funds have more to do with the current oil prices than everything else that it is being blamed on. Wouldn't it be ice to when they start shorting oil? |

Nice thing though. For as big as it is, I get around 17.5 a gallon on the Hwy. I actually went 720+ miles on a tank one time and when I filled it up it to 42.5 gallons. So you can say she was sucking fumes? LOL |

I remember filling up the tank for $9 for my old Firebird in Highschool. That rocked.
Of course, SKip will be like... I could fill up my car for $.12 back in 1923. |

Not long before the oil embargo of '72, I owned two gas stations. I once sold gas for 18.9 cents per gallon.
