Firefox question ....

OK, my daughter has an old pc that IE is messed up on. I mean the browser will not come up. I had her download firefox, it appears to work just fine. However for the kids online games, you need to have a bunch of plug ins downloaded for it to work.

What plugins do I need for firefox to allow the kids to play online. I wouldn't be susprised to find that I need 2,3,4 plugins for all of the websites they play on.

Plus, where do I find these plugins ? I have tried to download some over the internet, it wasn't working properly on that pc.

Macromedia Flash and Macromedia Shockwave are probably the 2 key ones you are missing.

I tried to download it off firefox,it says it installed fine, but nothing works ?

Yeah I cannot get flash macromedia to work at all for firefox, me thinks you and I are screwed...

You can get the IE extension that lets you view pages in IE with firefox. That might work.

Many, many games are Java driven, Firefox doesn't come with Java like Explorer does, needs to be manually installed.
