The last thing, especially this year, the NFL wants is a star player going out with a career ending injury; watch the refs swallow their whistles on offensive holding for the Broncos for the remainder of the year.

Of course, it's a devastating injury. He's easily top-5 at his position in the NFL, and his position is one of the most important positions on the field.

That said, come on, now! Some of you guys act as if we're doomed. What it's going to mean is that there will have to be more help on that side - especially against elite players. That means another TE (with Dreesen back, we've got four decent to great TEs), or sending a RB over there. You're still talking about probably the best set of WRs in the league, and the best adjustment-making QB in the league.

We'll be alright.
