ChiefsPlanet Rep thresholds should be raised - Page 6

I know this is basically unimportant and I barely care about rep myself, but if we are going to have rep, then it should mean something. Checking around a bit recently I noticed that almost everyone who has been here longer than a few months (who I checked anyway) has the max rep level.

Maybe the various levels we have, whatever they are (I only know about the silly "rep heist" level because almost everyone has it) should be raised. I'd think only the greatest posters of chiefs planet, fine glorious net citizens who we all adore such as Rain Man, AustinChief, and a few others, should have reached the pinnacle of chiefsplanet rep.

Some random dude like me (who is sorta known, but not really) shouldnt have the top rating comparable to our most beloved members, I should be at least 2 or 3 rungs lower.

Some of us are rep whores.

I don't post a lot and thus don't get repped one way or another a lot. And I find some of the rep tier comments (not to mention the actual rep comments themselves) mildly amusing, so its a "fun" thing when I make it to a new tier.

There should be more rep levels. Also, there should be more boobs in this thread.

Scrap the rep system and use a system like a thumbs up/thumbs down type of system and have everyone's rep be their total....Thumbs Up's - Thumbs down = Total rep. Allow comments when thumbs upping or thumbs downing a post, like now. Show the number of thumbs up and down on the posts. Show who thumbs upped and thumbs down.

Each thumbs up should be only +1 each thumbs down -1

No one person should be able to wipe out 50 peoples thumbs up. No one person should be able to give 50 people's worth of thumbs up.
