the last midnight release I went to was for Halo 2 for the original XBOX and there were probably 30 people in line for that one. What would expect these days? hundreds of people? 4 hour wait?

Shit, I might just try to finish Arkham City tonight and pick up MW3 in the AM

You know how people are, they want to be the first to get it and have that little extra edge on everyone else. I would have gotten mine at Wal-Mart, but I had to trade in Gears at Gamestop and put it toward a pre-order to get a 20% markup in trade-in value. So I may just roll up at like 11:45 and snag my copy since I already paid for it, or I'll just wait until after class tomorrow... Either way, I'm not an idiot.

Yep same here. Was kind of worried that I wouldn't get it on release day because of how quickly Amazon sold out of the Hardened Edition but I just checked it and it is already on a truck headed to my closest sorting facility.

I just wish that Amazon used Fed Ex, I live less than a mile from their sorting facility and normally get packages at like 8 AM from them.
