Electronics Time again for a new phone - Page 26

So I'm eligible to upgrade my cell phone again August 1st. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S2 through Sprint and was ready to get the S4. Now I see that LG is set to release their Optimus G2 sometime in August.

I've never considered LG, but I'm intrigued by what I've read.

Has anyone else looked at this and is it worth waiting another month or so for the LG?

Also, does anyone in the KC area have any experience with Sprint's LTE 4G? Is coverage still spotty?

It's between this or the Nexus X for me. I really cant hold out much longer with my phone literally dying, so I'm hoping something about the Nexus X is confirmed in the next couple weeks like a release date and the actual size of the phone. My Galaxy Nexus is on it's last leg. If the Nexus X is obese I'll just pick up a Nexus 5 on the cheap. I'll take a serious look at the Moto's too.

I've thought about that too, picking up a Nexus 5 (they now offer a 64GB version) or even the LG G2. Both of those phones aren't too far off from todays flagships.

The one thing I'm worried about with the new Moto X is the battery life. They increased the screen size and resolution but only upped the battery by a measly 100 mAh??? That 801 and Android L better be doing work.

So is there any difference between the Note 4 and the Edge? I know the beveled screen, but the specs and everything...are they virtually the same? The Note 4 is said to have like a 5.7 inch screen to the 5.6 inch Edge, big deal.

It looks like Google is replacing broken Nexus 5's if you purchased it through the Play Store.

I bought the phone close to the release date and had to replace it because the power button juggles. The newer batch also had larger speakers.

I was recently having GPS issues and the where the phone was frequently losing the GPS signal while driving so I might send it in for a new one.

On the Slickdeals thread people were reporting that water damaged phones, broken screens were being replaced through this program.
