and you got into a verbal disagreement with someone on a chiefsplanet bb would your response be to post a pic that flashes lights etc and says you deserve a seizure. Or would you consider that a bitch move

No particular incident. Mecca has forever been a shit disturber. And when he gets pressed, his most common defense is "you're all ganging up on me".

Photosensitivity only affects about 1 in 20 persons with epilepsy.

But, the intent is the same.

It's not very often on the internet you can directly do a person harm through the screen. Certainly an attempt to do harm is more serious than a threat of real life harm. Probably criminal, as well.

That is the question with me. The intent was clear. Let's say something tragic happened and Diddy does not only suffer seizure, but dies from it as well. Is there any criminal liability that Mecca be responsible for? Personally I don't think it holds up in criminal court. But civil court is a whole different story. Could Mecca be giving a part of his income for the rest of his life to Diddy's family? Then the question arises, does a attorney look for CP(Kyle) to bear any responsibilty?

The issue has little upside and a whole basket full of downsides. No reason to allow serious medical issues that have the potential to end in death to be exploited in any manner for a laugh.

Were I the proprietor I would ban the user. It's not worth it to tolerate a potentially harmful situation for a member, to say nothing of my assuming the risk if some kind of liability would come my way because of it.

Yeah I got a little irked by it, but I'm over it. Didn't affect me so no blood no foul. I just thought it was a weak move, but hey I wasn't innocent in the whole thing either.

I think you could definitely have a case of manslaughter. Intent, prior knowledge of potential harm, pre-determination, action. It's all there.

I'm not sure how Mr. Mecca would fare in prison, either. The existing gangs wouldn't take him because he is too good, so he'd have to start his own gang.

Looking back it was a mistake. I equated someone posting a pic that could cause actual physical harm as same as being the same as hitting someone.
