No disagreements. Many a convo happened this offseason on the browns board when they took Barkevious Mingo while having Sheard, and Kruger.

I get it. I don't pass up on talent either.

That's a bullshit comment.

Offensive linemen don't "take years to develop" they almost always either hit the ground running or fall flat on their face and get salvaged by being moved to guard.

Branden Albert gave up 4 sacks as a rookie and handled Richard Seymour extremely well IN HIS FIRST NFL START.

Stephenson should be at right tackle, IMO.
No.

No
No

No.

That's not "why they should have traded Albert"

ITS WHY THEY SHOULD HAVE DRAFTED ANOTHER POSITION.

Our wideouts would have been damn near uncoverable if we had drafted Tavon Austin.

Flowers and Milliner?

Cordarelle Patterson and Bowe as the starters with Avery/DMC/Wylie in the slot and Cordarelle as the returner? Sick

Dion Jordan or Mingo?

**** it

If we wanted to upgrade the line...why not Cooper or Warmack?

Picking Eric Fisher was just wrong.

Roger that. It's too bad. I was really hoping Geno Smith was going to be our Luck/RG3/Wilson. Unfortunately, it looks like there just wasn't a guy anywhere near that in this draft.

Maybe we get lucky with Bray. It IS pretty much the ideal situation for him.

A #1 for Austin-
I can understand the Austin thing. He returns kicks, can line up like Percy Harvin. Every where. He is just like Randall Cobb. The dude is a menace. He is going to give teams fits this year.......

People knock him for his size. Guaranteed, he is priority number one for every defense that faces the rams this year.

Not if Reid and Dorsey feel he was the best player.

Fish can play Both sides. Since B A was Not traded- he moved over there. They took the Best available-end of story.

And yes JC had a great year- but was stuffed for losses because of Poor blocking- far to often.

That's your opinion, not mine. Albert has been nothing but a serviceable left tackle on a very bad football team. He'll be 29 years old mid-season, so he most likely has less than 3 years before his play declines.

Dumping Albert in favor of Fisher would have been a move with an eye on the future. As it stands, it stunts Fisher's growth as a left tackle and takes up $10 million dollars in cap space.

Any way you look at it, it's a bad football decision.

I doubt very seriously an Andy Reid led team will lead the league in rushing.

We already have Dexter that can do all of the above and has already been moved around a lot in camp.

Um, as a K-State fan and someone who actually attended that university, I absolutely knew about Arthur Brown.

I just couldn't understand who in the ****ing wide world would even suggest taking an inside linebacker at #1 overall.

Good grief, stop with the drugs.

Yeah, it is sad, and I felt bad for you guys. Talking with a Packer buddy of mine, he was asking how you guys were Taking Alex Smith, and I said that some like, some hate. It is shitty. The year before, you guys watch as the best qb draft class in 30 years goes by, and this year, you have 1.1 and there isn't a true number one in the draft class. I felt horrible for you guys. At least when the browns drafted in 1999, their were legit number ones, we just took the wrong one.

I get it. I think that Dorsey, and Reid at the end of the day said we cant find a Franchise qb, lets draft the best we can, and try to build up the rest of the roster. The price they paid shows just how little they considered the draft class, and the free agent qbs.....

Pitiful.

Hey, at least you aren't stuck with Brandon Weeden.....

That's fair now, that we are in Camp........But, there was a lot of hate directed towards DMC before the draft.......

and tavon Austin fits that explosive player mentality that the eagles had adopted with DJax, and Maclin. Not advocating, just understanding where SDH is coming from.
