2014-2015 NBA off-season Lebron goes home thread.

I will update this when the schedule is announced in a couple of weeks, but I will open with the new uniforms for the Charlotte Hornets below.

Yeah, I love how Wade is a broken down chump. Is he the same guy who was a Finals MVP in 2006? No. But Kyrie has missed an average of 22 games per year and as the best player on a terrible team only gets 21ppg, 6apg on a paltry 43% shooting. His fg% is even worse in catch-and-shoot situations. Meanwhile Wade this year got 19/5/5 on 55% shooting, but he sucks.

Gilbert's letter was stupid but I don't get the comparisons people are making to Sterling. Not the same thing at all.

Woj says Wade is unsure of which way LeBron is leaning. This has become the indecision.

I could see Irving having a Marbury or Francis type career path.

I saw something about the Warriors were willing to trade Klay and Lee for Love and Minnesota's first round pick, but the Wolves said no. Also, Klay is going to want a max contract.

I think this is why this is taking so long. The Cavs have question marks too. And the Heat got rolled worse than any finals team in history. Wade looked shot and Bosh looked soft. Both places could easily blow up in his face.

Exactly, Wade was so valuable to his team during the Finals.

But it sounds pretty clear that meetings wrapped up Wednesday and if the police were contacted very early Thursday by LeBron s people, pretty clear a decision was planned for yesterday. I don't trust Sheridan as much as I do woj. His take seems to be the one that makes the most sense. That lbj was leaning heavily toward Cleveland but now is having second thoughts after hanging out with Wade. Again, I find it really hard to believe that LeBron indecisiveness since Wednesday has anything to do with a letter written four years ago. I'm sure that factored into whatever decision he planned to make on Thursday.

I don't get the comparisons. Kylie is 22. He's played like a young prima Donna who hasn't had good coaching or veteran leadership. Or like many players do when they're young and realize they're awesome. Heard nothing to suggest he's a bad kid. Apart from Dion waiters, it sounds like most of his teammates are on his side. I'd say waiters is much more the issue, even if kyrie handled his shit immaturity too.

I almost trust the Yahoo Sports guys more than ESPN at this point. Dan Wetzel says the letter is a non issue. It's about "saving" Cleveland vs. taking a short term deal with Miami. No decision has been made.

Uh. There's a big difference in the way the Spurs plays and the Heat. One team relies on system, game plan and fundamentals and the other relies mainly on athleticism and physical skill.

Unless Pop is going to replace Spo, there's no comparison between the two teams.

Kyrie Irving is a selfish asshole. The comparisons to Marbury and Steve Francis exist because that's who he is. He's a bad teammate and a ball hog, the two worst things you'd want out of a point guard.

He's a ball stopper and he's not a very good shooter, either. He's not the kind of player you'd want with LeBron. He's also an apathetic defender.

If I were LeBron, I'd tell the Cavs that I'd sign with them contingent upon the following:

trade Irving, Tristan Thompson, and the Notorious DNP to New Orleans for Jrue Holliday and Ryan Anderson. New Orleans is stupid enough to do that trade.

Holliday can shoot, pass, and handle the ball, and Anderson is the kind of stretch 4 you want with Lebron.

PG: Holliday
SG: Wiggins
SF: James
PF: Anderson
C: Varejao

6th Man: Waiters

The same two teams are 1-1 in the NBA finals over the past 2 seasons, so your argument doesn't hold water.

And when they needed him most, in the series he was supposedly being saved for, he averaged 15-4-3 on 43% shooting.

Yeah....I'll still take Kyrie.
