There was a thread somewhere on here where it was implied that Hunt told his FO not to talk to the media because none of them spoke for the team anymore, as all of their jobs were in jeopardy. Maybe I am not remembering that correctly but that's what I thought was said.

Ways around that just have one of Pioli's personal assistant talk to the media about that stuff.
