So who was it exactly that actually judged Pioli to be a sharp evaluator of nfl ready talent?

Because those people were definitely wrong. Is it too late to ply King Carl with cigars and cognac to come back?

Yeah, but you could say that about any of these guys. How many teams are going to be lining up to take some 4th string player? I think it's irrelevant at this point, no pun intended. I don't know, I guess I think you have a better shot at getting something out of a kicker than a backup TE when you're in the 7th round.
