We have a QB
We have a QB. Damn, it is nice to be able to say that. We have a legitimate quarterback. Granted, the real bullets haven't started flying, but in practice, we have a real QB. If anyone else has been to camp and seen the chasm of difference between Thigpen and Cassel, then you already know. If you haven't seen them side by side, it is simply unreal. It's as though they play completely different positions or even completely different sports.

I am so glad we got Cassel.

I suppose. But, I don't think you understand. Cassel has a great arm and can make every throw on the field. Not only that, his accuracy is incredible. The deep comebacks and go routes were pinpoint.

I mean, it is difficult to say how he will perform in a game for the Chiefs since he hasn't, you know, performed in a game for the Chiefs.

But, the guy has all the tools and did a nice job of leading the team's offense today, even if guys like Webb couldn't wrap his hands around the ball.

Everyone makes a giant deal out of OTA's training camps when its only players against their team. Every single QB right now is "looking great." Don't get carried away. Yes, I think Cassel will be good, but his performance during practice is nothing to be excited over.
