My best memory of Baldwin is a play that didn't count. Dude reached around a defender's mid-section and caught the ball behind his back. Got called back on a penalty. He hasn't caught a damn thing since.

I'm just going on the premise that the Chiefs are 'incapable' of maximizing the talent of their players. Once they are free they go onto become productive, it's karma. Rich Gannon fits snugly into this area, although he was hecka better than Baldwin don't get me wrong.

Actually, in the 1st half Friday, Wylie, McCluster, and Avery all subbed in at the same time on a couple of occasions. When they were on the field, we had some of our better plays on offense.

If it does, it does. If it doesn't, it doesn't. No big thing either way to me. I'm just glad Baldwin is gone. Don't even care if Baldwin turns it around, just glad he isn't a Chief anymore. If Jenkins does anything, it is just a bonus.

Baldwin is a busting bust thus far, don't get me wrong but that is all-time NFL bust right there. Wasn't he #2 overall?
And also for the extreme haters, remember that Baldwin had Cassel for most of his short pro career thus far, so that amounts to something. If he had Peyton Manning I think things could be a bit different <-- speculation. |

Rich Gannon was productive with the Chiefs. He kicked butt in 1997. Then Marty replaced him with Elvis Grbac and our team went to shit. |

This is like our Bambino curse. We had a ****ing king in the wings who could do no wrong, and we went with the worst option imaginable. No wonder Marty never got a Lombardi.
