Is there a comparison website that has a breakdown on AntiVirus/Firewall softwares?

I'm setting up a new system and my Norton is about to expire.

I'm looking for a consumer reports type comparison if there is one available.

About two months ago I did research on this and the crem-dala-crem of anti-virus software was Bit Defender. Been using it since that time and it works great.

Avast! is by far the best anti-virus out there, and it's free to boot.

Recently was named AV product of the year by CSO (Chief Security Officer) magazine...

I recently replaced AVG(which as a non-tech) I thought was fine.....with AVAST.

My only issue with it, is that it seems to slow down my system performance. Has anyone else had that issue?
