If it's about the money, don't bother because I'm not listening. Tyson Jackson has a base salary of $14M. Money simply doesn't matter. A good front office can make anything work.
The irony of all of this is we just cut a player with similar production to harvin.

Theres a salary cap so money does matter to some extent. I dont recall any of the recent super bowl teams trading and breaking the bank for a player. Most developed their own talent at WR thats what we should do too.

They all developed their own QB too.

You ready to put yourself at odds with Dane?

Hell yes.

I also like the TEN WR Cordarrelle Patterson. Would love to get him at 34 or move back into rd 1 to get him. Kid can be very effective. Thats if we didnt trade for Harvin

Where have I said anywhere on this board that we should trade 2.2 for a QB? Nowhere.

This is a very deep draft at the WR position. It would be absurd to trade and overpay for a guy whos production is the same as a guy we just cut.

Green Bay has drafted some damn good talent at WR ill trust Dorsey on this.

A 3rd would be the most I would give for Harvin. I certainly wouldn't give 34.

I'm confused how a 29 year old who had 2393 total yards (rush & rec) over the past 4 years is considered similar production to a 24 year old who has had 3985 total yards over the same time period and has 5 KR return TDs.

He's Awesome but has zero probability of lasting to rd 2 or even the bottom of rd 1.

Saying it repeatedly doesn't make it true.

there are good FA safeties, CBs and TEs

there are not good FA WRs or 34 ILBs. Thus we either need to trade for a WR or LBer or draft both after whatever slapdick QB they want to take
