Peters Suspended

One game. Per Andy.

Summary from Andy (paraphrase) : Best for organization. Talked to Peters. Difficult to do as I like Peters.

The Chiefs: Redefining Bi-Polar disorder on a weekly basis.

Think about it and you may see startling similarities.

We cut Maclin. Dorsey vanished into the night. Why can't Peters be cut? This is some outside the box thinking! Why salvage value when you can blow the whole thing up and get nothing?!

Because Chiefs.

I believe he thinks his talent is wasted right now with KC while he is young. So he is disrespecting fans, the organization, and now the refs, to try to get out of KC. He's already proved to everyone he CAN be a good, respectable, CB when he wants to be.

His disrespect will only get worse as a Chief until he is traded or dropped.

He doesn't want to play for KC anymore.

If it wasn't for J Houston it looked like he was ready to rip Sutton's head off. Maybe he was just yelling and to be fair Reid defended him but that is the feeling I get from the video.
Obviously SOMEBODY needs to get in Suttons ear. Jesus, He was prob telling him to quit playing everyone off 10 yards on every snap.

I'm sure they have spoken to Peter's one on one before about his other tyrades. They were just at the end of their rope. What else was there to but have him not play?

Buddy of mine was in the stands at the game.

I saw a video on his phone of peters coming back out from the tunnel before he went back out. Peters was still exploding on the sidelines.

Im late to this thread, and im sure its all been said, but the fact he tweeted out LOL tells you all you need to know.

Dude cant ****ing learn, doesn't care about the team, and sure as **** doesn't care about any of you fools defending him.

This is the same buddy who did some major favors for Mr Peters and was repaid with immature wanna be gangster shenanigans off the field.

He and his mom were screaming at each other. His Mom was calling him ****ing crazy and Peters was verbally undressing her. Sunday was not a good day for Peters, before during or after the game. There is certainly more to this than just him picking up a flag and tossing it.

And, lmao at posters on this forum using his tirade against Bob Sutton as proof of Peters' volatility.

Since when did anyone @ CP give a damn about Bob Sutton?

**** Bob Sutton.

I guess if I'd put an exclamation point at the end of that sentence, I'd be subject to a suspension as well.

One more thing, i don't care if he does a handstand during the anthem. I just want to see KC win a damn Super Bowl.
Don't worry all these same cats that are talking shit about MP now will be crying on Sunday/Monday about the game results. Matter fact, they will turn around and blame MP for not being available on Sunday even though this was a team decision. If you want to fine him, sure fine him. But a team suspension??? I'm sure that's going over well in the locker room right now." Oh btw way guys, we gotta go beat the Raiders Sunday without our All-Pro corner and it was our decision, not the leagues."

This is probably the unfortunate reality. I mean, if Eric Berry is there then MAYBE he can be corralled. But that's not something to count on.

If Veach can get a 1st rounder for him or a high 2nd and 3rd, I'd probably pounce.

Marcus Peters isn't that good man at least not this year. Look what the Jets did to us last week with him on the field. Hell look at what the Raiders did to us earlier in the year. He's one player and he doesn't even shadow the #1 WR (not his fault I know it's the scheme but still it limits his impact IMO).

He's also having a bad year. PFF rates him as #39 overall CB this year. That's nothing to brag about. He won't be missed as much as you think. He's had some good games for sure but you don't get rated that low by PFF by being some great CB that will be hugely missed..

He's overrated at least this season.

This defense is going to take at least 2 years to fix. Of ****ing course Houston, DJ and EB aren't what they were.

Goddamnit this is not how I wanted to start the Mahomes era. Reggie Ragland and Chris Jones are the only real young proven high impact guys we'd have on defense if MP22 is traded.
