The question really is: Matt Cassel or Alex Smith?

Russ seems to have "it."
We don't yet know what Kapernick really is. Might just be Jason Campbell with wheels.

I got sick of Wilson at Wisconsin.
He loses shootouts. Most of the time not his fault, but he's always one step behind. Tends to make just enough mistakes to piss away the victory. I still question if his height won't hold him back from being what he truly could be. But he's absolutely a great starting QB. I'd take Kaepernick's moxy and athleticism over Wilson's (which is still very high). I'd rather have Geno Smith than both of them |

There's no Geno Smith option.
In his absence, I voted for Wilson primarily because I'm very slightly more familiar with him, which is a dumb reason but I've never seen Kaep..Kape...that 49er guy play.

I'd rather have wilson. I think he's going to be the more clutch type player. But i voted kaepernick because im tired of opposing fans asking questions about their teams that are in better situations than the chiefs on this board
