There's a mission and then it's a hunting challenge. The gun play is VERY satisfying in this game, BTW. From shooting raccoons to bad dudes, it's all very fun. I was honestly expecting the game to be set a little earlier, was surprised when the opening sequence included a car. I guess it's set in the early 1900's.

I wasn't able to access the multiplayer modes last night. Maybe the servers were down/overwhelmed. Did anybody else have this problem?

they were probably down, i couldnt put in my codes for a while, kept saying rockstar servers were down. I do now have my golden Guns, which wow, they are gold guns. lol

The Dead Eye mode or whatever it's called (slo-mo) is pretty bad ass

I need to quit checking these types of threads; ....looks like I need to pick up this game today.

I liked the original Red Dead Revolver; although a bit repetitive. Not sure if Rockstar was running it back then, but still fun.

I can't get over all the stuff you can do with this new game.

If you look in the upper-left hand corner of the map, it gives the year. Something like 1911, if I remember correctly.

And as far as horse controls go, I'm hoping it becomes tighter the more you ride. Kind of like driving in GTA: San Andreas. After riding the same horse for a while last night, I got message stating that I had bonded with the horse and it's endurance went up. Hopefully there will be more bonuses as you ride more.

just go pi9ck it up and get it. Free Roam with friends is a blast. WE had to go into a mine and steal the gold cart. It was a blast. I had 2 guys covering me, while i was pushing the mine cart full of gold.. So much fun.
