New Fall TV shows

So are there any new shows that we should be checking out? From what I've seen so far, I'm interested in Flash Forward, Modern Family, Bored to Death (HBO) and Community.

I have been catching up on the first season of the Life and Times of Time with OnDemand over the past few days and it's a pretty hilarious show.

Ok, let's tee this thread up again.

Any shows people are looking forward to this season?

I watched Up All Night (Christina Applegate and Will Arnett) and Free Agents (Hank Azaria) earlier this week. I want to like both, but Up All Night was the better of the two and I'm not sure either will end up on my DVR.

Person of Interest (JJ Abrams), Terra Nova (Spielberg time travel dino show) and The New Girl (Zooey Daschanel, good reviews) all seem interesting to me for one reason or another. Terra Nova in particular because it could be ok or it could flame out horribly --- either way, it should be fun to watch.

Maybe the two shows I'm looking forward to the most are Awake and Alcatraz (JJ Abrams, Sam Neil), but they're mid-season adds.

I agree with everything you said here. So much so that I have nothing of substance to add.

Alcatraz looks pretty good. But it's on fox and if it does turn out to be good, it will be cancelled after 2 or 3 seasons, hell it might not make it past the first if it's bad ass.

Once Upon a Time, Alcatraz, Terra Nova, and Person of Interest all seem to be worth a look. Person of Interest and Once Upon a Time are both looking to get that cult group left over from lost that didn't catch on with Fringe.

I liked Free Agents and The New Girl. Not really interested in Up All Night.

I'm hoping Person of Interest is good.

This seems like a really sparse new season.

Liked the pilot of UaN, ending was actually kind of poignant, gonna let it ride for a while on the strength of Applegate and Arnett.

Free Agents had a lot more comedic bite though, Azaria NAILED the delivery of what could have been a thudding recitation of sexual positions.

I think I should just give up on differentiating between Anna Gasteyer and Kathryn Hahn. This is like the third show I've watched swearing it was Anna, only to go to imdb and find otherwise, or vice versa [Chuck, Hung, Curb, Good Wife, Traffic Light, Mad Love, etc]. And it looks to continue as Anna has a role on the premiering Suburgatory.

Oh dude, I have the same exact problem. First 5 minutes of the show I'm thinking "this is the chick from SNL".
