Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.
And if all that isn't enough to get you hyped, have a first look at the game's just-revealed logo as well:

Man, I didn't realize they'd boosted the heroic strike rewards so much. Several blues and a legendary in each one today. That'll keep me running them.

im just doing the taken king storyline right now. It seems as if they added alot more baddies to fight all at once, some of them things are pure chaos, but in a good way.

Hmm, with the new tv season upon us, I may have to put this game down for a bit. Kind of disappointed with the new year 2 update right now. The story was WAYYYY TOOO short and loading us up with a bunch of "quests". All I see is more grinding and doing the same missions over and over again. I'll still play but I just don't see me playing nearly as much as I did in the past.

Of course, I should be used to this. I'm a Chiefs fan after all.

The quests are more story. There's one where you go into the vault of glass because the Vex invite you using a 200 year old distress call from Praedyth.

This DLC is at least triple the content of their previous ones.

I'm now getting Legandary Marks after every Heroic strike and also through the daily Crucible event.

Edit: Guess it's just the first 3 games or so

Ditto this. Don't just assume the quests are grinding. They're not. There's a ton of story in addition to the main storyline, and it's all really cool.

And yes, I soloed that Phobos mission.

I stepped away from this game when HoW content dropped... just was not gonna grind weapons/armor any more. A buddy told me about the changes and how it felt that it was how Destiny should have been from Day 1. Picked it up and man was he right. Game feels pretty good and I like the story add on.

I hit 300 last night and we were able to get our raid time down from 14 hours to 2.5.

So today's daily heroic has a special encounter that rewards a 310 exotic sniper called the black spindle, said to be the y2 equivalent of the black hammer. Won't be able to do it as a lone wolf but those of you with groups should be good to go. Details are all over reddit.

Nice, I was reading on that. looks like there are some stipulations. You apparently can't wipe and have to kill everything adds included in a certain time limit

We tried it out for the first time Monday night before the reset and called it a night at the War Priest.

Did you guys huddle up and do DPS on him from right/left/centre or did you head to the centre for all three times?

Upper left first since it's the hardest to get to, then middle, then right. Once you get your team work down you'll breeze through the raid. Everyone just has to do their job and the occasional death is OK.

You can wipe but it just eats away at your time. It took 3 of us at 300+ 6 attempts and we only had 2 seconds left when we got it.

By far the hardest thing in the game so far.
