Why did the Chiefs release Gaither?
While our tackles are actually quite good, it doesn't make sense to release a talent like him at such a demanding position.

He averaged 2.6 when he left kc. There was absolutely no reason to believe he'd ever have another 5 sack season, much less a double digit sack season.

From everything posted it here he was unwilling to play RT leaving us with the crappiest RT in the league. That and he is oft injured. It did make me feel kind of good him helping SD lose tonight.

He had 13 sacks in his 1st 3 seasons playing OLB in a 3-4.

He's much better in a 4-3, which is now proven.
