Could have just as easily been 2-1, but damn you guys love history. Understandable since we won the last time we played, and we're still playing.

Credit where credit is due. Too bad about Niang. Foot injuries suck, and have a tendency to linger.

Fortunately for Kansas, we'll have more depth and experience next year than what we have this year. Kind of scary...and Jojo may very well be back with another summer of Hudy working him. Damn.

Hear that. We have more height and depth next year too. And our three point shooters who have been getting better all year won't be first year guys anymore either.

Look. Iowa State is good. Hoiberg is a ****ing wizard. But the fact remains ISU is a long way from KU. They're pretty close this year, but over the long term, they're still a ways away. Remember, we lost how many starters from last year? Oh yeah. 5. But we still beat you twice.

If Hoiberg can continue to be a ****ing wizard, and let's be real here, the last couple years, he's been a ****ing wizard, they could very well compete with KU over the long term. The probability is he won't. Just like Self won't hit on all his recruits. But at this point, Self is bringing in more and better talent consistently. On top of that, Self seems to have Hoiberg's number.

So, ISU is definitely on the rise. Hoiberg is turning out to be a ****ing wizard. Things are good in Ames. But they're not on the level of KU yet, nor is there enough evidence that they will be. Objectively anyway.

They won't win the Big12 10 years in a row like Kansas did. But the difference is Kansas was the only great team, Iowa State isn't. Kansas has a huge head start, but they aren't the only top team in the country from the Big12 anymore.

Whaaaa?

You mean to tell me KSU with Beasley and Walker, UT with Durant, TAM with Acie Law weren't top teams?

Much less all the other tough ass teams in the Big 12 in the interim? GTFO dude. Seriously.

Holy shit, this Rusty guy is off his rocker.

I bet he's good at two things. Trolling the Kansas threads and sucking dick. Not in any particular order.

Hard for me to remember. IIRC, Griffin was always hurt when they played KU.

My wife always speculated that he was a scared bitch and faked injury. She hates his ass. Primarily for the time he was hurt and they split screen the game for a bunch of time so they could show him on the bench in street clothes. She was livid. Like throw shit at the TV livid.

I keep telling her he's not a bad guy. It's ESPN's fault. His commercials where he makes fun of himself are funny. He's a mean mammajamma in the NBA. She's not having it. Hates his ****ing guts.
