... all have very satisfying endings, I think.
King said that he had a different ending in mind for "11/22/63" but his son, Joe Hill, came up with a better one. King should pay him to do that on every book from here on.

It shouldn't have been that way. However, the ending where Stu and Tom made their way back was pretty cool.

IT ended in kind of a cool way IMHO. I thought it really took some imagination and took the reader on a journey.
I recently re-read "IT" and the ending wasn't as bad as I remembered. There are still some eye-rolling parts but it was better than remembered.

Yeah... The gang-banging 12 year olds was a little much.

Same here. I wonder how much money this book/movie has cost the clowning industry over the years, due to kids like me reading/watching it WAY to young and forever after avoiding clowns.

Yeah, that's the part that ruins it for most people, I think. It's not bad outside of that.

The ending just makes it a waste of time. I liked the parts with the kid actors in the first one, but the scenes with the adults was so cornball and crappy.

The Shining. great movie. good job jackie boy...but it ain't the book....lots of differences. still a great movie.
then the remade it as a mini series with Steven Weber playing the lead role and it is THE SHIT! if you've never seen it.....you should check it out.
yeah that's right....I'm saying it. Steven Webber Shining > Nicholson Shining!

IT Part 1 was one of the greatest flicks ever for me.

Part 2 sucked the knob.

Tim Curry and Jonathan Brandis kicked some acting ass.

Most have no clue about how crazy and genius Kubrick pulled off with that flick.

The older I get the more amazed and intrigued with Kubrick's ability and the level of genius this man was able to put on display in the achievement of his films.

This is an an extremely long read, but downright brilliant, plus it's broken out into lots of smaller sections, so it's really easy to check it out in part and revisit it whenever you may like.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Dude, really? Anything with Rebecca Dehorse-face in it is instant fail.

Did you end up like me? First time I stumbled upon that site I was blown away, and just kept reading and reading.

I've yet to get nothing but positive feedback from anyone I've shared the link with that took a little time to actually read over some analysis and breakdown of the genius of Kubrick.

Watch Room 237 - tons of theories on Kubrick's version of The Shining.

Gary Sinise was terrific. Molly Ringwold was fine as Frannie, and Laura San Giacomo was a better Nadine than a real-life Nadine would have been.

In fact, almost all of the casting was dead-on perfect, including Ray Walston as Glen Bateman, Rob Lowe as Nick Andros, Matt Frewer as the Trashcan Man, and Bill pillowbitererbakke (Dauber from Coach) as Tom Cullen. But casting Corin Nemec, who probably weighs about 100 lbs. soaking wet, as Harold Lauder was such horrific casting that it almost ruined the mini-series for me. Every time he came on the screen I said "WTF?" and shook my head.

Overall it was still excellent, but that guy was not Harold Lauder.

Edit: Sometimes the filters on this web site are ridiculous. I can't even type Bill F*gerbakke's name without the damn filter getting in the way.
