RULES

Spoiler!

1. 12 hours for each pick. Unless it's on the weekends.....then your clock can go **** itself.

2. Make sure that you have PMs turned on. After you make your selection, PM the next person up to let them know that they're on the clock. If you know that you aren't going to be on and able to make your selection, PM a list of your desired picks (in the order you want them) to someone else. You can send those to me, or some other poster you trust. Make sure the person who selects before you knows who to alert when your team is on the clock. If you miss your pick, you will be skipped and you'll have to make your pick as soon as you can. If you miss two consecutive picks, you lose your teams.

3. Format your selections as such: *Insert team name* selects Player Name, POS, School. Make sure they are bolded so that people can see them. You can add pictures and explanations if you'd like but they aren't required.

4. Do a search of the thread before you pick to make sure that the player hasn't been selected. If you pick a player that has already been drafted, you face the wrath of the entire thread and you'll have to correct it. So don't make a pick and then leave for 14 hours. Stick around and make sure that you didn't **** up.

5. I and everybody else who help operate this mock try to keep up on NFL offseason news while the draft is in session. We input the comp picks, and we're usually good about adjusting the order for any blockbuster trades that may occur where the previously made picks aren't affected, but sometimes we miss things. It may be a good idea to keep up-to-date on your team's offseason moves regarding their supply of draft picks and let us know if stuff comes up so we can make the changes to the draft order. No, in the end, the true order will likely not be 100% perfect or accurate, but shit happens when you do mocks a month before a draft starts.

I'm not talking about the Buehlers out there who post some things to consider. I mean there are posters who legit think the Bears should keep #1 and draft Drake Maye.

It's unbelievable, and if they think even stupid NFL franchises will do this kind of thing, they're nuts.

There's a graveyard of filled with the careers of dozens of dumbasses who get cute with decisions like this. And most of the time it's not even because they don't know any better, it's because of hubris. We're talking Scott Pioli drafting Tyson Jackson at #3 overall. Why? Because he knows better. I'm not saying Williams is going to be as good as Mahomes. I'm saying he's the #1 overall pick and should be treated as such by any team like the Bears without a real QB on their team in the #1 slot

We've seen what entitled idiots end up being in the league. Usually not much. Johnny Manziel and Zach Wilson had all the physical talent too. Takes more than a 10-cent brain to play QB in the NFL. I'm not saying you don't pick Williams but I wouldn't want to.

I don't think I'd have the guts to NOT take him first overall. I'm just saying I have a hunch Maye ends up being the most effective QB from this draft.
