Yup. Which is why I don't understand K-State fans talking about the NC game. Whoever wins the SEC CG is going to be in the NC game.....and K-State has no shot at beating whoever comes out of the SEC. None. Zero. The gap in talent level is too big.

Also, Oregon is being left out of this. And if they run the table they will get the nod over K-State more than likely.

If there are three one loss SEC teams and three other undefeateds the SEC could certainly be left out. Oregon may jump they may not. The schedules and overall body of work are fairly equal.

K-state likely doesn't beat Alabama or Florida, but they would certainly be able to handle the LSU "offense" and win that in a close game.

Again, wrong. I don't think you have any understanding of how the BCS selection process and rankings work.

I don't think you have ever paid any attention to imperfectness of what is college football rankings. I think they probably would, but to speak in absolutes about something so fluid is just silly.

It's an absolute. Done deal. No question. If Oregon does not lose they will finish ahead of KSU in the BCS rankings.

There are pollsters that would give a one-loss Oregon or Florida the nod over an undefeated KSU.
You are hilarious in this thread.

And on the flip side of that their are probably pollsters that would say Snyder has earned the opportunity to play in the big game.

SOME pollsters will do whatever they want. A one loss any SEC team will not play over an undefeated K-state. They could play each other, or neither could play, but not a one loss SEC team over an undefeated K-state.

Edit-I should say it shouldn't happen.

A 1-loss Florida or Bama team could easily get the #2 spot over KSU in the final poll. If you don't think it could happen you haven't been watching college football.

I'm not saying I favor it, I'm pointing out the facts. It's one of the reasons the play off system gained traction.

Of all people, we K-State fans should know this, as the Wildcats got royally screwed at bowl selection one year by a 6 win Notre Dame team.

But K-State should get a lot more respect this year, after beating Oklahoma on the road, and thrashing WV on the road. Both of those teams were rated very highly , prior to the losses.
For K-State to do to WV after the TTech loss, speaks highly of Bill Snyders team.

Also, I heard one of the announcers compare Bill Snyder to John Wooden! Now that is some respect, much more than they have ever received.
