I only have one - around $10k. I haven't ever had more than $2500 on there at once though.

I unfortunately have a sub-500 credit score, owe tens of thousands to creditors and don\'t have a credit card. I have found Jesus though. The Lord is going to get me through this hardship in my life.

believe it or not you could probably still get a special credit card. Prepaid version if you need it. Might help your score too.

I keep 2 cards, 1 is 24k, the other is 20k. I have 0 balance on 1 of them, just use it and pay it off once in a while and owe about $3500 on the other one. And I should have my mortgage paid in about 9 yrs. total time.

American Express - no pre-set spending limit.
I've had as much as $5K on it before, used it on our honeymoon to rack up reward points, and paid it off immediately after returning home. We pay our bills with it to accumulate reward points. |

American Express is in the shitter. I would be shocked if you said you'd charged anything over around 2k and had no problems in the last 3 months. I've talked a lot of folks who have no "pre set" spending limit, but starts having their purchases declined once their balance hits around 2k.
