Help I am trying to get my birth certificate
I was born at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri but apparently that's not the name of it anymore. Can anyone help me with that?

You should be able to get it from the Jackson County Recorder's Office.

I actually went in for mine, it was really pretty easy. First, I had to "prove" who I was by showing a drivers license and a socialist insecurity card. Is it now the "Baptist Lutheran Medical Center"? Seems the hospital is still open for ER, outpatient, and doctor's offices. Inpatient care is all that is going away.

You might verify that, I know some countries will accept a US driver's license and birth certificate instead.

I'm not sure how much "proof" the state will require to issue a new birth certficate if you aren't the one that goes, but I got mine the same day by visiting the office. It was somewhere on the south side of downtown IIRC. You might call and see if you have to go in person or if you can send someone.
